Trade fair organiser APLF Ltd has announced that APLF Asean will take place at JIExpo in Kemayoran, Jakarta, on 17–18 November 2026. The exhibition is designed to provide a focused sourcing environment for international and regional suppliers looking to connect directly with Indonesian procurement teams.
The event is being organised with the support of local industry organisations, including the Indonesian Tanners Association (APKI) and the Indonesian Footwear Industry Development Center (BPIPI). According to the organiser, the announcement follows recent meetings between APLF Asean and Indonesian industry associations to identify local sourcing requirements across the sector.
The upcoming event comes amid a wider push by Indonesia to strengthen its industrial manufacturing base. Within this development, leather serves as a key material supplying several major export-oriented industries in the country.
Pre-registration for the two-day sourcing event in Jakarta has now officially opened for trade visitors and participating industry representatives.
