The change in company leadership is effetive from February 1, 2026. Kilian succeeds Dr. Frank Meyer and will drive the integration into Dürkopp Adler GmbH.
Dr. Frank Meyer will remain with the company as Managing Director of KSL Joining Technology GmbH in Bensheim. Together with Jing Fan, Managing Director responsible for Finance & Controlling, HR, IT and Quality, Kilian will lead the traditional company.
Michael Kilian is also Managing Director of Dürkopp Adler GmbH. Both companies are part of the internationally active Shang Gong Group (SGG). The new management will continue the reorganisation of the group that has already been initiated. The goal is the strategic and operational integration of Pfaff Industrial into Dürkopp Adler GmbH.
“With this reorganisation, we are ideally positioned to meet future market challenges in automation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence. With Pfaff Industrial in the group, we aim to strengthen our activities in textile welding with new, innovative products,” says Michael Kilian.
The integration is another step towards bundling competencies within the group and is intended to secure and expand the group’s market position in textile and leather processing in the long term.
