The countdown to Lineapelle 108 has begun. Nearly two months ahead of its opening, the world’s leading trade fair for leather, materials, components and technologies for fashion and luxury has already secured more than 1,000 exhibitors, underlining strong confidence from the international supply chain.
Following – according to the organisers – well-attended preview events in London and New York, the Milan edition will once again bring together manufacturers of leather, textiles, innovative materials, accessories and components from around the world. Organisers see the strong exhibitor response as confirmation of Lineapelle’s role as a key international business and networking platform for the fashion and design industries.
The exhibition will again run alongside Simac Tanning Tech, dedicated to machinery and technologies for the footwear, leather goods and tanning sectors, while FILO, the international exhibition for yarns and fibres, will also return to the exhibition halls. On 15 September, Lineapelle’s opening day will overlap with the final day of Micam and Mipel, aiming to further strengthen Milan’s position as a global hub for the fashion supply chain.
In addition to its commercial offering, Lineapelle 108 will feature an extensive conference programme focusing on the industry’s key transformation topics, including sustainability, artificial intelligence, traceability, innovative materials and evolving market dynamics. Among the highlights is a discussion on the implementation of the EU Anti-Greenwashing Directive, which will become fully applicable in Italy at the end of September.
Beyond the trade fair itself, Lineapelle will continue its presence during Milan Fashion Week with the tenth edition of Lineapelle Designers Edition, featuring fashion shows and brand presentations dedicated to emerging designers and leather innovation. Together, the exhibition and its cultural programme are expected to reinforce the fair’s position as the leading global marketplace for materials and innovation across the fashion, luxury and design industries.
